We are all on our own journey, in life, and in yoga. I am here to walk it with you on your journey.
My classes are intimate and personalized, taking into consideration where you are at in your yogic journey, your physical state, and your lifestyle. When we start working together, we will explore where you want to go with your practice, if you have any specific goals, and build classes to introduce you to yoga or expand your practice.
If you're a beginner or an "on-and-off" yoga student who wants to go beyond the asana (physical postures), and would like to know more about yoga philosophy, alignment, then feel free to reach out so we can have a conversation and begin to define your yogic journey together. You can reach me by email at email@example.com, I'd be happy to hear from you.
A little bit of background on my yoga story which has inspired my approach to teaching yoga...
I started practicing yogain 2011 to gain flexibility and to understand the feeling of "zen" that I'd heard so much about. Without consistent practice, and having gone to group classes where I just wasn't sure if "I was doing it right", I lost motivation to keep learning...
...but then in late 2017, I decided to take the time to deepen my practice and learn how to properly do yoga. And what better way to learn the proper alignment than by learning how to teach? And so, in 2018, off I went to Rishikesh, India, to complete my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. I gained so much more than I could ever have imagined, physically gaining flexibility and strength, all the while learning to appreciate being in the moment through my practice, to truly listen to my body and my breath, to embrace the stillness... It has become more than a physical practice, but a moment to connect and simply be.
I'm passionate about sharing these moments with you, holding the space for you to embark on your yogic journey, so that we may walk it together.
